After wetting my iphone a first time around a day ago, it came up with an error when I charged my iphone, "This accessory is not certified and may not work reliably." I got past this by first putting it in a box of rice for about 2 hours and then plugging in the charger while the spinning symbol was on the screen before shutting down. Now that it's wet again, it completely stopped giving an error message and absolutely nothing happens when I plug this in the charger, it does absolutely nothing. No errors or anything. It's as if their isn't even a charger plugged in. I already broke one phone and my parents are probably going to beat me again if they find out I've broken another. I asked for a different phone or a waterproof phone but they screamed at me and said its the only type available in the AT&T plan so I can't really do anything else. What should I do? It charged perfectly fine a day ago.
It is damaged internal from getting wet. Take it the Apple Store and ask for an out of warranty replacement for which you will be charged.
