My iPhone 4s with iOS 7.0.2 the battery drains tremendously fast! This morning it was 100% charged then just by surfing facebook and flipboard with 3G, it became 7% in the noon. I hope Apple can solve this problem! I'm very upset right now
Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device. Have you tried any of these besides complaining and being upset?
i did reset and restart. Have not tried any of restore from backup or restore as new device.
Go to Settings>General>Background App Refresh and switch it OFF!
Hope I helped!
I off it already
I upgraded my iPhone 4, wife's 4s, and my 3rd gen iPad to IOS 7 when it was released and had no dramas. A couple of days ago I installed the 7.0.2 update and now the battery drains insanely fast on all. Yesterday I noticed my iPad seemed to drain quickly. Today my wife's 4s went from 100% to 3% in about 3 hours with light usage. This afternoon, my 4 went from 100% to shutdown in 4.5 hours with practically no usage and a reset just prior to removing it from the charger. All I did with it was just turn it on every couple of hours to see what the battery level was. I also noticed that although the phone was just sitting on my desk it was noticeably warm. I have already done all the suggested battery saving tips - turning off background app refresh etc. Prior to 7.0.2 it has never discharged this quickly even with heavy use.
I am facing the same issue. I upgraded my 4S and 5 to 7.0.2, and with I am seeing a huge drain in battery life. The 4S is as bad as OP, however, the 5 holds up better. I have tried all the tricks with background app refresh to location services to app updates. Nothing helped.
Is there a way to downgrade to 7.0.1?
Upgraded my 4s to 7.0.2 two days ago and today I am experiencing the same. I have disabled everything and my battery won't last more than 3 hrs on standby...what to do now? One interesting thing, I did a hard reset (on/off and home button for 10 seconds until apple icon appears) my battery was at 63% after it rebooted my battery was at 88%. what gives with this?
