This first began with no voice on the maps app but after I went and changed the volume it was ok. Now my phone calls go straigt to voice mail and my texts dont ring. I have to log into the phone for it to ring. Then it only works for one call and then it rolls to voice mail. In addition, bluetooth got all screwed up as well. Anyone else experiencing this? My daughter and wife have iPhone5's and they work fine. They were all bought on the initial rollout at the same time. 32GB.
I have the same problem since switching to the iPhone 5. At work, incoming calls don't ring and go straight to voice mail while at home incoming calls always ring. I have excellent LTE coverage in both locations. After complaining to AT&T I ran some tests. First, you will notice that when an incoming call is sensed the indicator changes from LTE to 4G. At work, where calls don't ring, I was able to get people to dial me and could see the switchover from LTE to 4G (without ringing my phone). At home, the switchover occurs and the phone rings.
Turning off LTE service on my iPhone 5 (Settings-->General-->Cellular-->Enable LTE <Off>) solved my problem, for now. Incoming calls always ring without going to voice mail.
The fact that the problem occurs at some locations and not others points to issues with AT&T's network. I have informed them and they promised an answer by 12/14. On the other hand, there may also be an additional problem in the iPhone 5 firmware in how it handles the switchover from LTE to 4G when receiving voice calls.
I will report more on this when I have more information. In the meantime, let me know if turning off LTE allows your phone to receive incoming calls.
