My new iphone 5S 64 gig worked great for the first week I owned it until installing iOS 7.0.2 on 9/29/13. Since then I began dropping calls like crazy and having bluetooth connectivity issues as well. Apple / Verizon saw first hand and Apple REPLACED my new 5S today. I am back to iOS 7.0.0 and was told NOT to install 7.0.2 again.
Anyone else have a similar issue!
I've had my 5S for a week and it drops almost every call. I worked with Verizon but after trying everything on their end, I'm still dropping calls. Their conclusion is I have a defective phone and I should return it to the store I bought it from. Problem is there are no 5s' to be found since they're on back order and the store doesn't know when more are coming in. I have seven more days before I'm stuck with this thing for 2 years. Now what?
Your phone has a 1 year warranty, you wont' be stuck with it, just take it back to the Apple store when they have more in stock.
Go to a apple store, there replacments are new devices.. I went and had mine replaced as my battery i beleive was bad..
I have the AT&T version and mine drops calls in areas in didn't before. I think since they replaced the glass back with aluminum, it's absorbing some signal strength. My iPhone 4S had way better signal strength than 5s.
