How long is the iPhone Warranty?
The apple website has Warranty information for the iMac on the Tech Specs page, but not for the iPhone 5c or 5s.
The Staff at JB-HiFi told me the standard Apple Warranty is 2 years, and there are articles around like this:
Which say that Apple has changed the warranty to two years but has told staff not to tell anyone about it, presumably to sell more Apple Care Protection plans which would mean money for nothing.
If this is true, Apple are pretty shifty. Why can't they just put it nice and clear in the Tech Specs? Wouldn't this be something to shout about because other phones may not have 2 years. This could explain why Australian iPhones are much more expensive than in the US.

I just visited the Australian Apple Support site and the warranty information is there. Unless that website you linked to can provide some official documention by Apple or something, i'd assume that what Apple has on their site is what you should go by. If Apple changed the terms of their Warranty in AUS to 2 years, there should be something pointing to such a change.
Did you try calling them directly?
