I am so glad I didn't update to IOS7 with both my iPhone and iPad. Apple has really Jumped the Shark. They seem to be taking the same stance as the US Govt, "Leading from Behind".
What ever happened to setting the trends instead of trying to follow them??
Seriously, if I wanted a Windows phone I would buy one.
I have the same issue!!
I hated iOS 7 and I feel like its a cheap phone! Apple used to be the BEST. Well, not happy anymore.
And they MUST listen to the customers! Or probably they will lose many...
Is it not possible to revert back to ios6 by doing a restore in itunes to last backup?
Restoring from backup only restores the data, not the iOS.
Well, Apple needs to come out with an update to fix this battery drainage real fast....iOS 7 is draining the life out of my battery in no time and I've changed everything I could think of that would be using the battery extensively. I don't like the look of iOS 7 either.
Not totally true. It was possible to restore from the 6.1.3 firmware installer (available for download on the internet) until three days ago when Apple stopped "signing" 6.1.3. So one can download the iOS 6 installer, and iTunes will attempt to install it; but since Apple won't authorize it, so to speak, the installation fails. Personally, I absolutely detest iOS 7 and I am really, really angry at Apple for their idiotic refusal to allow people who don't like iOS 7 to restore iOS 6 and use the operating system they prefer.
It seems to me that the only hope that this will again be possible in the future is if a flood of complaints about Apple's policy on this issue start flooding the Apple forums. Personally, I intend to start a new thread on this issue, as well as post a message like this one in every existing relevant thread. I encourage everyone who feels as I do to do the same. There is absolutely no justifiable reason for Apple to force iPhone owners to stick with iOS 7 if they prefer iOS 6, and Apple needs to know that people are angry about their bone-headed policy.
Keep them cards and letters coming!
Has anyone noticed the number of these posts asking a question on how to revert to IOS6 being deleted. In the past two days I have gone back to look at updates and noticed there completely gone. I think there is nothing wrong asking for help on the forum and why should this type of question be removed. We are not all experts and its really acceptable to see if you can reinstall your phone.
If this is true, it is an incredibly bad move on Apple's part.
Yes but i wouldent reccomend it.
